What is the BTR
The BTR-82A is an armoured personnel carrier that patrols fixed routes on Woods, Streets of Tarkov and Lighthouse, offering taxi rides, covering fire and item extraction. It stays neutral unless someone shoots at it or covering fire is active.

- Neutral by default; hostile while attacked or during covering fire
- Prices scale with Scav karma, Charisma and distance; BEAR pays roughly half of USEC
Covering fire
Only available while riding. The BTR attacks enemies en route and turns hostile to other players until the service ends.
Item extraction
Place found-in-raid items in the trunk; they arrive in your stash by in-game mail after about an hour. Stricter limits than the taxi service.
